Robert Gilmore, Esq. graduated with high honors from Florida Coastal School of Law (FCSL) in Jacksonville, Florida, finishing first in his class and obtaining multiple book awards and honors for his work as CaseNote Editor of the FCSL Law Review.

Rob is a member of The Rotary Club of Destin and was selected among 16 other professionals for the "Destin Forward" Leadership Program. Rob is also an affiliate member of the Women's Council of Realtors and the Destin Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to attending law school, Rob spent the better part of a decade (the 1990's) as a professional business man - five years in Commercial Banking/Lending and three years as a licensed Life, Health and Variable Annuities insurance agent in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area.

Before founding The Gilmore Law Firm, P.A., Rob was a partner with John Ledbetter in the Firm of Ledbetter & Gilmore, P.L. where Rob practiced civil litigation and real estate. Prior to that, Rob practiced with Matthews & Hawkins, P.A. in Destin, Florida, specializing in real estate law and real estate development, corporate law, and business law where Rob structured and personally closed multiple multi-million dollar complex real estate transactions and real estate business ventures.

In addition to real estate and business law practice, Rob maintains a life-long passion and presence in the music industry, having managed and assisted several popular artists in obtaining major label album deals and subsequent top 10 radio airplay and national tours.

Rob is a life-long resident of Destin/Fort Walton Beach, graduating from Fort Walton Beach High School where he was section leader of the drum corps, achieving highest marks in regional and national competitions. Rob graduated from Florida State University obtaining his undergraduate degree in business/finance in 1992.

Rob is married with children and enjoys music, off-road & motocross riding, boating, fishing, diving, graphic design, and spending quality time with his family and pets.
